Persita Tangerang, formally the Indonesian Football Association Tangerang. It is an Indonesian professional football team based in Tangerang. The club was founded in 1922 and first joined the Liga Indonesia Premier Division in 2006. The team is owned by PT Persita Tangerang, which also owns Persitron Indonesia, a manufacturing company based in Jakarta.
